Bangkok, Thailand"Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you. O let the nations rejoice and be glad, for you will judge the peoples righteously and govern the nations upon earth.” — Psalm 67: 3 - 4

CCC is building a team to travel to Bangkok, Thailand, this summer to assist Tim and Rhianna Mills in their work. The Mills work on a church planting team sent by Mission to the World. Thailand is a nation that is more than 90% Buddhist. Fewer than 1% of the population are Christians.

Project activities may include, but are not limited to:
  • College Ministry: In Thailand as anywhere else, college graduates tend to be more influential in society. In light of this, college campuses are strategic target areas.

  • Mercy Ministry: Roughly 7% of Bangkok’s registered population is impoverished. Including the unregistered population, this percentage may be as high as 30%. There are more than 1,500 slums in the city intermixed with more affluent dwellings that we will have an opportunity to reach out to.

  • Church Planting: The team in Bangkok is focused on church planting with a goal of community change and ultimately country change. Planting churches in strategic locations is the plan to accomplish this goal.

  • Passport Information: Each team member must have a current valid passport to travel out of the country.
