Christ Community is committed to equipping each person to grow in the gospel of grace, understand and use their spiritual gifts in service, and seek to reach out to others with the love and truth of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-12 says “It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” Every person at CCC is important and valuable towards fulfilling the calling for the church to be the beautiful bride of Christ. One of the primary means of equipping adults at CCC is through our small groups. We are not just a church that has small groups, but we are a church that is small groups. Though we believe in biblical leadership of elders, we also value a de-centralized ministry model which encourages broad leadership within the church and seeks to encourage a higher level of spiritual investment and accountability. We have two primary small group vehicles. C&E Time Adult Fellowship Community Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:15 for a time of fellowship and teaching. This community provides a great opportunity for connecting with our church body beyond the 10:30 worship service experience. Connection Groups “Connection Groups” meet monthly on a Saturday or Sunday for a cookout or casual meal and will provide an extended time of fellowship,
spiritual encouragement, and fun, as well as a place for newcomers to connect.

Each group is gender specific and has 4-6 members and makes a commitment for the school year. New groups are formed and launched in September. If you have never participated in a group and would like to be contacted or find out more about these groups, please contact the church office so you can be part of a group in the fall. Women of Christ Community (WOCC) The women of CCC have recently organized all the ministry efforts under one ministry called Women of Christ Community. The purpose of the W.O.C.C. is that every woman know Christ personally and be committed to extending His kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world. In order to accomplish this purpose there are presently five areas of ministry in which to get involved. Those areas are: Discipleship Ministry, Connecting Ministry, Hospitality Ministry, Caregiving Ministry, and Retreat/Conference Ministry. If you desire to serve in an area, please call Lisa Lucas at 678-581-0988.
