Welcome to Christ Community Church Online!

We hope your journey provides you with valuable information to find out more about what God is doing in this exciting young church plant in northwest Cobb County. Click the links at left to find out more.

We are a young church whose vision is to see the Gospel change hearts, lives, and community by multiplying disciples in northwest Atlanta and beyond. Our motto is “Changed hearts, changed lives, changed community.” We believe that God is the only one who can eternally change the heart of a person. Then, as a result of a genuine spiritual change, the person will eventually experience a transformed life that will inevitably impact his or her community.

In August 2008, we purchased 8 acres of land near the intersection of N. Main Street and Jiles Road in Kennesaw across from Kennesaw Elementary and the new Swift-Cantrell Park. We hope to construct our phase one multi-purpose building on the site in the next two years as God provides the resources and leading to move forward. We look forward to having a permanent home in the community!

Prayer Quote for February

“So when I say, ‘Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church.  Worship is,’ I do not mean ‘worship services.’  I do not mean ‘worship singing.’  Those are part of the expression of the essence of worship, but those things can happen and not be worship.  Worship is not first an outward act; it is an inner spiritual treasuring of the character and the ways of God in Christ.  It is a cherishing of Christ, a being satisfied with all that God is for us in Christ.”

Prayer Focus for February

Central to our heart of worship is the thought of Jesus opening his arms to feel the pain and suffering of the world. In Jesus’ example, not of power or force, but of humiliation and vulnerability at the cross, we see a God who allows us to draw near to him. This month, and always, focus your efforts, your energy, your heart to the glory of our Savior, the light of the world.
