Gracious and Merciful Father,                                                          

We come before you to confess our sin as Your redeemed and beloved children. May Your Spirit alone convict us of our sin and remind us of our pardon in Christ through repentance.

We confess that we often wrestle with flesh and blood according to our own understanding instead of being strong in the strength and armor you supply against the devil and powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:10-17).

We confess that we frequently neglect our greatest weapon which is to pray in the Spirit for our needs and the needs of other saints seeking to live in Christ in the world (Ephesians 6:18-20).

We confess these things before You because You are faithful to forgive us in Christ. Bless us with the assurance of our pardon by Your Holy Spirit in Christ alone by faith alone through Your grace alone from Your Word.
