Slyman Family Transition
Thank you, Christ Community church family for allowing us to come alongside you over the past 13+ years. It has been a privilege for us to grow with you, serving and being served. As our children have now grown to young adults, we feel it is time for our family to take the next step in our journey. We are thankful to each individual of our church body for pouring into our lives and our children’s lives. We will continue to reap the blessing of the investments that you have made. While it is difficult for us to enact change, we are stepping out in faith to be open to where the Lord is leading us. May the Lord continue to prosper and bless our brothers and sisters at Christ Community! Farewells for us are never “good-bye”, always “until we meet again”.
With great love and appreciation,
Paige, Christa, Caleb, and Jules Slyman

August 8th & 15th: Updated Pictures for Church Directory
We are still in need of updated pictures for many of the families at CCC.

See Maggie after the service on either of those dates if you need a picture for the updated Church Directory.

Stay Tuned for more information to come...
The staff of Christ Community meets each morning to pray for the families of our church but since we've removed the giving time from the services we haven't received as many prayer cards from you all. So, we're going to try something new!
We will now include this link (below) in our Weekly Updates so that you can let us know how to be praying for you, your family, and those in your spheres of influence.

Music from Our Recorded Services
As we're recording our worship services we're compiling a database of the songs we've recorded. If you're interested in listening to any of these songs, CLICK HERE.
(We will continue to add to this each week.)
Thank you to Dave and Kathy Arasmith for opening their home (the basement studio) to the worship team, and to Dave for the time spent mixing these tracks. We look forward to the day we can all come together again, but until then we hope these are a blessing to you and your family.
Do This in Remembrance of Me: Communicants Workbook
While we want to take the process of our children becoming full-communing members of our church seriously, we also want to be careful not to make it more complex than adult membership given that they are asked the same questions. Thus, we have designed the communicant’s material to focus on the 5 membership questions that they will be asked to be admitted to the Lord’s Table.
